The cook brought out our dishes to us instead of the waitress and he smelled like cigarettes gross! I thought they burned my food. The antipasta with their house italian dressing is delicious. Forgot to take a picture. The chicken piccata was good. I still miss my chicken piccata from macaroni grill.

As an East coaster it took me a while to find a proper Italian restaurant in my neighborhood that really made good Italian food. This is it. Great pizza, great marinara sauce, great tomato cream sauce, great meatballs, great lunch buffet. Great staff. Great service. My only issue is that it can get a bit expensive, especially if you're buying drinks. No happy hour. I've seen the owner walk around and comp other people's checks. Or give them a free round of drinks. I've never been so lucky. I consider this a very good management skill... To every once in a great while give your regular customers a free drink just to say hey thanks. Nope. Never. So that's a consideration even if I dine alone if I'm having drinks... this could be an $80 to a $100 night out. So not something I can do all the time. But that's on me. I should probably quit drinking.

One of favorite Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. We shared our "usual" veal piccata and their house salad. It was excellent as always. Brianna was our waitress and she did an amazing job.

Stopped by Carusso for lunch, and wow--the chicken dish I ordered was so good! Super flavorful and perfectly cooked. I just came back from Europe and the quality of food is exceptional. They really care. The staff was awesome, really friendly and made us feel right at home. It's a family-run spot, and you definitely get those good, cozy vibes. Highly suggest coming here to eat

A vast indoor dining area PLUS a massive sports bar area. This has NFL Sunday, BiG Raucous Party of 20, World Series Game 7 and Italian Kitchen Love written all over it. We threw down on MEATBALLS, PESTO CHICKEN and a specialty pizza the galley put together for our vegan friend. The MEATBALLS were hearty good. PESTO CHICKEN had a really deep pesto/garlic/oil vibe with tasty and not overdone chicken...and the plate was so huge, I had to take 1/2 home. PIZZA was crispy thin crust and really good. Caruso's knows how to make a pie. Throw in that thick, crunchy hot garlic bread and the ice cold IPA offerings and you're in business.

I was here for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night. We were able to get tables at the bar. The food that I got to taste was amazingly great. The problem was our waitress. When it was time to order our drinks, we had to ask for them like 3 or 4 times. In terms of ordering food, that never happened but it finally did, it was about an hour later. Luckily, I was able to share off of others that had ordered. I was very temped to just cross the street to go eat at the taco stand. As for the ambiance, it's great. It is definitely happening at the bar area. They have Mariana who is the karaoke lady. She was always smiling, friendly, and approachable. She managed to come to the tables, talk to everyone in between people taking turns singing. Ordering drinks at the bar was far faster than having to order drinks through our waitress. Behind the bar was Soledad. Amazing at making drinks. Friendly, attentive, and made them to order. When I do return, I plan on going during the week. I hope service will be better. I will definitely be ordering a Cheese Calzone since the one I tried was delicious.
